Return & Shipping Policies
Returns are only accepted for new/unused products within 14 days of delivery. You are responsible for return shipping.
The electronic products we sell cannot be resold once charged, used, or damaged. Returned products will be inspected prior to a refund being processed. If products are returned with any signs of use, change in voltage, scratches, markings, damage, torn packaging, scratched off authentication number, etc. or otherwise not in the same condition as delivered - you are not eligible for a refund.

Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
You must obtain an RMA number within 14 days of delivery for a return or within the applicable time period for a defect claim. The RMA number should be written on the shipping label or box. Products returned without an RMA will not be honored.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receipt of your return. A 20% restocking fee will apply and the original outbound shipping cost is nonrefundable.
A 5% cancellation fee will apply. An order cannot be cancelled if a tracking number has been assigned.
Lithium ion cells degrade upon usage and may fail prematurely depending on the type of usage and environmental conditions. Due to the universal nature of lithium-ion cells/batteries as well as countless configurations of cells in battery packs, IMR Batteries does not provide any warranty or guarantee of compatibility, suitability, or fitness for a particular purpose (e.g. a particular electronic device, electronic application, battery pack, etc.). The customer or user is solely responsible for determining whether a particular cell/battery/product is suitable and/or compatible for use in a particular electronic device, for a particular electronic application, or for their own particular use.
The products on this website are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, IMR Batteries disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. IMR Batteries does not make any warranties or representations regarding the use of materials in this site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, adequacy, usefulness, timeliness, reliability, or otherwise. Some states do not permit limitations or exclusions on warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Cylindrical Cells (18650, 21700, etc)
Cell voltage should be checked with a multi-meter before the first charge. A cell which is new and DOA (dead cell, 0v, will not accept a charge) can be returned and exchanged with the following conditions:
- Batch/Serial numbers must match those which originated from our facilities.
- Cells/batteries must be new/unused in the original condition as shipped/received without signs of use
- All original packaging must be included
You are responsible for return shipping and we will ship replacements at our expense.
Note: Cells/batteries which have been charged/discharged/used are not eligible for DOA replacement.

Cylindrical Cell and Battery Pack Chargers
- Within 30 days of purchase: You are responsible for return shipping and we will ship the replacement at our expense.
- Within 1 year of purchase: You are responsible for return shipping and you will be billed $10 for processing and shipping the replacement. If applicable, the actual shipping cost will be billed for wholesale customers replacing multiple chargers. You may provide a prepaid shipping label for us to use in lieu of us billing you for the return shipping.
Note: Our charger replacement policy only covers reasonable wear and tear and the charger cannot otherwise be damaged, abused, exposed to liquids, etc.
Orders are processed the same or next business day, excluding weekends and holidays. You will receive tracking via email once your order has been shipped. Due to our central location in Houston, TX, most orders are delivered in just 2 to 4 days.
UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. If UPS/FedEx is chosen for shipping and a PO Box is provided for delivery, we will ship your order via USPS without prior notice.
Please use the shipping calculator in your cart to receive shipping costs and available shipping methods. Due to our central location in Houston, TX, most orders are delivered in just 2 to 4 days via ground shipping.
We offer international shipping to Canada on our website. We can ship to some countries worldwide but only in large quantities, please contact us to discuss freight options.
Note: The shipping cost quoted is for delivery only and does not include duties/taxes/fees. As the importer of goods into your country, you are responsible to pay for any applicable duties/taxes/fees. DDP incoterms are available on a case by case basis.
Note: You bear all risk for orders delivered to a freight forwarder. Claims such as damage or missing items may be refused. Export documents will not be provided to forwarders.
Package Rerouting/Address Correction
If you provided the wrong address or an incorrect/incomplete address [incorrect street number or name, missing suite or apartment number, incorrect zip code, etc] and the package has left our facility and is in transit, you may submit a request for carrier package intercept via email.
UPS, FedEx, and USPS charge fees for package intercept/rerouting services as well as additional shipping costs for shipping to the new destination. All fees must be paid before the package can be rerouted. Current carrier reroute fees are: UPS $19.50 | FedEx $14.50 | USPS $15.95.
Note: We cannot reroute an order paid via PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Visa Checkout. We may decline to reroute your order for any reason.
In the event your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. Photos of the damaged items and shipping packaging are required. We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Once the carrier has approved and paid the claim, we will ship replacements of the damaged products. You expressly accept the carrier's approval or disapproval of a claim as binding.
Refused/Return to Sender
If an order is returned as refused, return to sender, or undeliverable [incorrect address, incomplete address (missing suite or apartment number)] a refund will be processed less a 20% restocking fee and the original outbound shipping cost. If applicable, orders shipped via "free shipping" will have the actual outbound shipping cost deducted.
Lost or Stolen Package
Online tracking delivery confirmation from the carrier is considered proof of delivery. If you did not receive your package, we will initiate a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Once the carrier has approved and paid the claim, we will ship a replacement of your order. You expressly accept the carrier's approval or disapproval of a claim as binding. We are not responsible for package theft after delivery. It is your responsibility to have a secure location for delivery.
