Return Policy
All Sales Are Final
Due to the nature of the products we sell, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or provide refunds once an order has been shipped. This policy is in place to ensure product safety and integrity.
Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their device or application before purchasing. If you have any questions, our customer service team is available to assist you with detailed product information to help you make an informed decision.
If your product arrives damaged or defective, please refer to the policies below and contact us for support.
Cancellations & Modifications
- Once an order is submitted, it cannot be modified or canceled.
- Orders are processed immediately to ensure fast fulfillment, and as a result, we are unable to make any adjustments after submission.
Undeliverable & Refused Shipments
If an order is returned by the carrier as refused, return to sender, undeliverable, due to failure to sign for delivery, or an incorrect/incomplete address (e.g., missing apartment or suite number), a refund will be issued to the original payment method minus:
✔ The original outbound shipping cost
✔ Return shipping costs charged by the carrier
✔ A 15% restocking fee (applied to the product subtotal)
If a returned package is lost or damaged in transit back to us, it will not be eligible for a refund. Customers assume responsibility for any refused shipments.
Defect Claims Policy
Products claimed as defective are only eligible for replacement and cannot be refunded.
Replacements will be issued only for the same brand and model of the original item.
RMA Number Requirement
- An RMA number must be obtained within the applicable claim period for a defect claim to be processed.
- The RMA number must be written on the return shipping label or box.
- Products returned without an RMA number will not be eligible for replacement.
- RMA numbers are valid for 7 days, and the return must be shipped within this timeframe.
- RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued.
Inspection & Eligibility
- All returned products will be inspected prior to replacement.
- The serial/batch number must match the one originally shipped to you.
- Products must be in original condition and not show signs of misuse, modification, or damage caused by improper handling.
Shipping Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- We will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item.
Claim Timeframes & Manufacturer Warranty
Defect claims must be submitted within the applicable timeframe based on the product category:
Cylindrical Lithium-ion Cells (18650, 21700, etc.)
- DOA (Dead on Arrival) Replacement Only – Cell voltage must be checked with a multimeter before first charge.
- DOA claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
- Cells must be new/unused in their original condition without any signs of use. Cells that have been charged, discharged, or used in any way are not eligible for DOA replacement.
- All original packaging must be included.

Replacement Limits
- Only one replacement per item per order will be issued.
Damage Claims
- If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately upon receipt.
- Photos of the damaged items and shipping packaging are required to process your claim.
- We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.
- Replacements will be shipped at no additional cost only after the carrier has approved and paid the claim.
- You expressly accept the carrier’s approval or disapproval of the claim as final and binding.

Lithium-ion cells degrade due to usage, charge/discharge cycles, and age, which may lead to premature failure. IMR Batteries makes no warranties or guarantees regarding compatibility, suitability, or fitness for a particular purpose, including but not limited to specific electronic devices, applications, or battery packs. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to determine whether a particular battery, cell, or product is suitable and compatible for their intended use.
